Sylvia

Sylvia Wilson is 22 in On The Sly, 23 in Sly As A Fox. Her birthday is in October. She’s 5’10”, lean and athletic. She has straight brown hair that falls below her shoulders. Her eyes are brown and there are tiny freckles all across her face. Think of the country girl next door.

Some insight into Sylvia through the two series books:

On The Sly

Sylvia owns a bar in St. Louis, Missouri. She has a no-strings-attached lover in another bar owner, as well as a brother, two fierce dogs, and several friends. Though she has a traumatic past, she’s mostly come to peace with it and has a fairly laid back attitude until she finds a body in her bar. Even as the clues seem to point to her as the killer, she finds herself once again reliving her parents’ murders. In an effort to clear her name, as well as the ghosts out of her mind, she decides to launch her own investigation.

Sly As A Fox

Sylvia’s brother, Aaron, has always been the center of her whole world. When he goes missing, she joins forces with the FBI to search for him, even though she’s affected by the recent trauma from the murder in her bar, and that which has reawakened from her youth. As she gets deeper into the search, the emotional hits keep coming, dropping her into a heavy tailspin. There’s no one she feels she can trust except the two detectives who thought she was guilty of murder last fall.
