Here’s some business advice from the shop keepers. Especially relevant for writers because we think the small bookstores are more approachable.
As a writer, you know that marketing is half, if not more, of the battle. We each learn as much as we can individually, yet there’s so much to learn, it seems impossible to become expert in it all, much less to find places where we can learn it. To that end, I’ve started a new pin board on Pinterest: Marketing for the Writer. I’m making it a public board with as many pinners as I can so that we can all share the valuable tips and hints we’ve learned.
